The start of Stylish Statements was more of a necessity than anything else. My husband and I were walking through big box retail stores throughout the OC and the IE looking for simple home décor items, when we came to the conclusion that we would literally have to spend thousands of dollars to get the look we were going for, in our newly purchased home. With the help of a family friend, a brainstorming session, using the tools, assets and business connections of our graphics/print Company (SNAP Graphics & Design) we realized that we could produce many of the items that big box retailers were selling at a fraction of the cost and the items could be customized to our needs. We took our ideas and decided that we could turn this into a business that would provide a great alternative to what is currently offered elsewhere.
